I’ve never
read a romance book about the hero being a comedian before, so in that respect
it was entertaining. But, I just felt that there was something missing, and it
seemed a bit boring at times. There’s the lust along with the drama that I
always look for in a contemporary romance. So, all-in-all not a bad start to
the series. With an on-going criminal investigation that continues on into the
next book of the series, I’ve decided to plug ahead and read this story that
features the heroine’s brother, Ryan. One can only hope that the mystery really
dives into some seedy stuff concerning the Paige-Prince family!
